It is for the very reason that it took over 3 years for a permanent solution to be found to the RROD error that I think it is essential that all Xbox 360 owners arm themselves with the proper information that will free them from the RROD error. The Red Ring of Death Error is a serious issue that should not be disregarded. The Red Ring of Death has been attempted to be resolved by many using many different methods, but most of these are only temporary, and most of these are often harmful for your console. Once confronted with the RROD most 360 users tend to resort to the technical assistance of Microsoft.
I resorted to Microsoft more than once and my Xbox 360 never returned back to me completely fixed. Turning to Microsoft may not be the best choice to take and I’ll let you know why. I as well as millions of other 360 owners have consulted with Microsoft to only get our systems back months later unfixed. Within a few weeks of getting my console back from Microsoft the Red Rings of Death came back - I was pretty angry. Millions worldwide have also experienced this inconvenience with Microsoft’s customer support. And on top of that, if you are not covered under warranty look forward to dishing out a few hundred dollars just to send your system off to not see it until maybe 2 months later, if you’re lucky. Now I don’t know whats worse-waiting two months for your system, forking out $165, or getting a system back that fails on you within a few weeks time. So what sounds like a better deal: spending money to get no real fix, or taking matters into your own hands and permanently fixing your 360 yourself at less than half the cost of Microsoft’s fees?
Like thousands of other Xbox 360 users I searched all over the Internet for a reliable and guaranteed solution and was fortunate enough to have found one. In all honesty I like tons of other 360 owners, were tired of the lack of confidence that we had for Microsoft and all the bogus methods that are being touted as the solution online, like “The Towel Trick”. The Towel Trick is a particularly dangerous temporary fix because if done improperly you can end up frying your system. For the best and most reliable information, see http://www.360profix.com
As I’ve said there is one permanent solution and the essential and only Xbox 360 Repair Guide that you are ever going to need. There are only about 4 repair guides that I recommend using over any others as these have been verified by myself and have worked for thousands of others. The guides require that you go into your system, repair one vital aspect to your 360 and you’re done. Try not to think to much about the fact that these guides are “Self-Fix-It” methods because the process is very simple and easy. While this can be daunting at first glance I can assure you that the process is very simple, you are guided 100 percent of the way through video tutorial and will take you less than 1 hours. I’m glad that I found these repair guides because prior to finding them I used the “Towel Trick” and fried an Xbox 360 so I had to buy a new one. It was only after I had found the Repair Guides that I no longer had any further problems.
I can’t recommend these repair guides enough and think it would be very wise if 360 users who haven’t experienced the red ring of death grab a copy just in case worse comes to worst. There are just too many dodgy and unreliable sources of information out there that will leave you running in a wheel. So I feel overall that it’s just best to fix the problem ourselves instead of relying on unreliable and risky methods and unreliable services, especially because doing it ourselves we are guaranteed a permanent fix. It’s my hope that this article will prompt you to take action if your Xbox 360 needs to be fixed. I have reviewed my personal favorite repair guide so, take a look at Xbox 360 Red Light Fix
